I followed a sketch by Bev over at Memorable Seasons and this features my mom when she was a teenager. The papers are from Vintage Floret by Heartfelt Creations. The decorative circle die is from Layered Scalloped Posy Die. The decorative border is from Decorative Lace Border Die. The flowers and leaves are from Vintage Floret Stamps and Dies, Posy Patch Stamps and Dies, Bella Rose Leaves and Die. The sentiment is from Classic Message PreCut Set. I also used the Paper Blossoms Tool Kit to make the flowers and Brown Gala Glitz for the centers. The glittery, brown background texture was made by stamping Tattered Background with Stamp Paint.

This layout is for Carol's August 9 Design Challenge. I started with my August kit and used the chalk stickers, red cardstock, little alpha stickers, and paper from The Pier by Crate Paper. The "7" was punched from Travel Girl paper by October Afternoon. All of the other papers are an assortment of American Crafts "Junior" and "Heat Wave" and Sassafras "Sunshine Broadcast." The "memo" label is from Collectibles by MME. The bracket sticker is by Sassafras. The cloud punch is Fiskars and the decorative border punch is Martha Stewart. The word stickers are by Authentique. "Life is Good" was die cut from Graphically Speaking and the "beach" alphas are American Crafts. The circle die cut is from Maggie Holmes by Crate Paper and the gems are from Webster's Pages.

This set of cards is for Sally's Color Challenge, which includes grey, light blue, navy blue, and fuschia. I started with Crate Paper's "Random" and added in my July and August kits... and everything else! LOL I had so much fun mixing and matching my supplies.

I was inspired by Iwona's sketch HERE.

The ribbon and the cork arrow came from my August kit. The grey and blue polka dot paper came from my July kit. It's Travel Girl by October Afternoon. The fuschia paper is from Random by Crate Paper. The photo corner is from Everyday Moments by Teresa Collins. The navy blue cardstock and tag are from DCWV. The navy blue polka dotted piece is from Weekend Market by BoBunny. The MEMO label is Colorbok and the sentiment is from Simple Stories 24/7.

The yellow piece is also from Random. The bingo card and blue denim flag are from Simple Stories- 24/7 and Summer Fresh. The bling is from Fine and Dandy by MME. The alpha stickers are from What a Wonderful Day by Fancy Pants. The pink flower was made with Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies- Posy Patch Collection.

The travel log paper is from Travel Girl by October Afternoon. The polka dot paper is from Random. The brown tag is from So Sophie by MME. The notebook sticker is by Colorbok. The green label sticker is from Witch Hazel by October Afternoon. The sentiment sticker is from Uncommon by Authentique. I sprayed the corrugated butterfly with Starfish Glimmer Mist. The bling is from Fine and Dandy by MME.

The polka dotted cardstock and ribbon were in my August kit. The cloud punch is by Fiskars. The cloud sticker is from Summer Fresh by Simple Stories. The chevron lookin' paper is from Travel Girl and the alphas are from What a Wonderful Day.

This layout is for Tami's #2 Challenge. I started with my August kit which includes The Pier by Crate Paper. I followed a sketch by Scrap Friends.

For the Challenge:

1. Use papers by two different manufacturers: I used The Pier by Crate Paper, Here and There by Studio Calico, and Travel Girl by October Afternoon.

2. Two word title: "looky here" alphas by American Crafts.

The yellow hearts were stamped with acrylic paint. I created the array with stamps by Fancy Pants "Fresh Mod." The speech bubbles were die cut from Studio Calico paper with my Expression. The notebook edge punch is by Fiskars. "This way to fun" is a stamp by Scrappy Cat.

This layout is for Laura C's Stamping Challenge. I started with my August kit which included The Pier by Crate Paper. I followed Sketch #137 from Sketchabilities.

For the Challenge:

1. Stamp the background: I used a scalloped stamp from Fine and Dandy by MME to add a bit of border detail.

2. Stamp an embellishment: The speech bubble with the heart is a stamp by Studio G. I also stamped sentiments on sticker labels by Crate Paper. Those stamps are MME and 7Gypsies.

3. Stamp a letter in the title: "MIMI" alphas are from a set by My Sentiments Exactly called "Retro."

The cameras, journaling tag, and the grey/blue polka dot papers are all from Travel Girl by October Afternoon. The border punch is EK Success. The clouds and scalloped heart punches are Fiskars.

My first layout for the month.

I followed a sketch by Ronda for My Mind's Eye. The patterned papers and yellow alphas are all from The Pier by Crate Paper. The background red piece is from an old Bohemian line by MME. The arrow stamps and "lol" alphas are from Sassafras. The corky arrows are from Fancy Pants. The telegram card is from Travel Girl by October Afternoon.

The journaling reads:

I've been working through a heavy weight lifting program and Chance has been assisting me with progress pics. Well, wherever Chance and I are involved silliness always ensues. He snapped this photo of me pretending I can't wield a 10 lbs dumbbell. Then, he dared me to put it on Facebook. At first, I said, "No, way!" and then let him talk me into it. When he saw I posted it, he just laughed and laughed! The things we do for our kids. -June 2013
