I love xmas cards. And since I need a bazillion of them I get to make them all year!
I was inspired by a recent DT challenge to try something monochromatic. Almost monochromatic? I used shapes, textures, foam dots and a pop of red to keep things interesting. Scalloped shaped from Storybook. Punched border is Martha Stewart. Ribbon is Doodlebug. Red floss by Making Memories.
This snowman is by Penny Black. I colored him with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
Another snowman by Penny Black. Followed a sketch by Mojo Monday. Papers by MME.
Colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The blue is chalk.
Border punch is EK Success. Dim sticker by Recollections.
Ribbon from Ms. I think the brown/red pin is Jillibean Soup, I THINK. The pearl pin is craft stash.

ohmy! SO charming...love the mostly-white one, but they are both great! Sewing is a nice detail :)
Both cards are so cheery and fun! Congrats to MIWA!
Oooh, love the card! And thank you for the RAK! It's just so nice to find new fun blogs to follow - even if I am a wee bit behind...! :)
