I like fussy cards. I like making fussy cards. I like fussing over fussy cards. I like gifting fussy cards. But, sometimes, I quit fussing and just let the gorgeous paper do all the work. Here, the papers are all from Celebrate the Season. You just can't argue with these colors!

I did throw in some silver Stickles for good measure. Also, the poinsettias are from Sparkling Poinsettia stamps and dies. I heat embossed the poinsettias in silver.

Flowers in a Tea Cup

Papers are from Zephyr by Prima. The border punch is EK Succes.

I used Prismacolor pencils to color this stamp from Northwoods on Kraft cardstock. I don't love it- my coloring skills here, that is. Oh, well.

Christmas with Toppers

I picked up one of those cardmaking magazines that come with freebies at Jo-Ann's. This magazine featured these gold foiled toppers and some paper.

I really liked the toppers.

I matched this topper up with some old Basic Grey papers. "LET IT SNOW" is by Recollections.

Here, I paired the topper with some really old My Mind's Eye. The die is Spellbinders and the "Santa" is by Recollections.

For this card, I used a piece of the patterned paper that came in the magazine. It looks fine but I passed the rest of the stack on to someone else.

BEAUTY

The flowers are from all over.... my craft room! Ha! I dunno. We have handmade, Recollections, and more handmade going on here. The stamps and papers are all from Whimsy Stamps.

Someday, I'll be good at coloring skin. Someday. I used... I don't know which pencils I used. The texture looks raw so I wanna say Staedtler. I like cheap pencils?

merry christmas

This is a mess. You know, I decorated our formal dining room for the holidays this morning and this is the color scheme. I have to make Christmas work with our Vintage Rose dishes. So, I have the dark burgundy, pinks, reds, and greens going on in there. This card is so ridiculous and I can't think of anyone to give it to that would appreciate something so ridiculous. Therefore, I think I'll just add it to my dining room.

all the happy words

Isn't this old paper from October Afternoon just- DELICIOUS?!! I have a thing for polka dots. The papers are getting some additional action from a shaped die cut by Fancy Pants, a pretty ribbon, and a bunch of old style flower things.

Papers are oldies from Crate Paper. The small die cut flowers are Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies. The chip bird is Maya Road. The sentiment and die is Marianne Design.

This lovely stamp is a from PSX- saddest closing of a stamp company EVER. I used Prismacolor pencils to color up this beauty.

HO! HO! HO!

a cup of cheer

This card is what I would call a "yard sale." It's a mix of all the things! Let's see. The polka dot paper is MME. The whitish paper is Heartfelt Creations and the brown floral print is Fancy Pants. The journaling tag, the file tab, and the word paper is also from Hot Chocolate by Fancy Pants. The sentiment tag is... nevermind, I don't know. The mug with the candy cane was die cut with the Silhouette. I used a Micron pen to add faux stitching.

Card with SEI

I'm still dashing through my stash...

Confession: I've been known to laugh hysterically at my own jokes.

Here, I found some SEI to play with... Had to Google to see if they're still around. Scrapbook.com has some nice things marked way down. The SEI website was neat to check out. Anyway, I supported these SEI papers (great quality, by the way) with a gold doily, a tag from G45, a frame from Prima, pompom trim, and some poinsettia looking thing from who-knows. See that little, metal sleigh in the bottom corner? That's Making Memories!!! You know, the brand.

Cards with Riddersholm

While tearing through my scraps stash, I found these oldies from Riddersholm. This paper is from 2011. It looks like you can still buy their stuff from a neat little online store called The Rubber Buggy. The sentiment tag is Graphic45.

I topped the Riddersholm Papers with a postcard piece from Prima, a tag from G45, and poinsettias from Heartfelt Creations.

Cards with Graphic45

I've been tearing through my stash of Christmas scraps. I have almost nothing left! Don't worry, though. I bought 3 new 6x6 packs at Michael's last night!

Check out this old paper from Graphic45! I think it came out in 2011. I threw down some doilies, ribbon, and bling and called it good.

For this one, I added some Stickles, pompom trim, and stick pins.

Super Simple with a Snowman

Normal for me: Hours to color a stamp and more hours to layer up a card.

Not normal: These.
I was going for simple. I stamped the image with blue Archival ink. The sentiment is Hero Arts and the little snowman is probably Recollections from Michael's.

This time, I stamped the image with red Archival ink. The stamp is by Rachel Anne Miller.
