Altered Cigar Box

A cigar box. An embellishment storage box. A crayon box. An altered keepsake box.

All of the papers are from Phresh and Phunky by Basic Grey.

A fun mix of flowers, greenery, and beads.

Made by Vivian.

Big blue is by Vivian.

And another by Vivian.

The brick stamp is by Prima and the script stamp is Inkadinkado. I think. And a little spray of glimmer mist and lace.

A scrap piece from another project, accented with Stickles. The punch is by Martha Stewart.

A view of the corner.

Border punches by Martha Stewart, accented with crackle paint and distress ink.

Inside the box.

Not sure how I'll use this box but it sure is pretty! If I say so myself.

fishing fun

Followed a sketch from Cardabilities. Papers from Like Father Like Son by Fancy Pants.

This vintage image is from Digital Two for Tuesday, colored with Loew-Cornell pencils. "fun" is rub on letters from Making Memories. The cute tag is a digi from Whimsy Stamps, by Raindrop Echo Designs.

My beloved corner punch from The Paper Studio. And my signature brads.

perfect day

Papers by The Paper Studio.

This digital image is by Beary Wishes. When I colored it, I didn't realize I should be coloring irises. My mistake! Oh well. I colored the images with Loew-Cornell pencils.

The carnation was handmade by my sister Vivian. I love them! Small enough for cards.

A little sentiment from Studio G.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Magenta- Overflowing Basket

Another Magenta stamp RAK'd to me by Kelly. This stamp had some damage so I had to get creative... bet you can't find the spot where the rubber is damaged! Wanna know why? Because I masked it out.  Cool, huh? This stamp is also really huge! This card is 5.5 x 5.5".

Colored with chalks. I might try fussy cutting and layering next time.

Magenta- Plantation House

Playing around with some stamps that I've had for awhile and never used. This stamp by Magenta was RAK'd to me from my friend Kelly. This card was inspired by chelemom. The stickles really helped dress up the simple card and bring it all together.

I used pastel pencils and chalks to give the image just subtle coloring.

Christmas Magnetic Tray *flying unicorn*

I made this for a recent issue of Enchanting Creations. The papers are from I Believe by Riddersholm, available at Flying Unicorn.

The mini roses are available at Flying Unicorn. All the other flowers were handmade by my friend Stephanie. Everything is topped with Glimmer Mist, also available at Flying Unicorn.

The sentiment stamp is by Northwoods. The Santa brad is Imaginisce and the chipboard stickers are from The Paper Studio, a Hobby Lobby brand. I used crackle paint on the edges of my photo mats. Flying Unicorn has every color of crackle paint!

More of these fabulous roses! LOVE them!

I used small magnets to post the pictures. I can change them anytime!

Check out my video and watch me create this project from start to finish!

wishing you happiness *whimsy stamps*

Papers from Andrea Victoria by MME.

I love this image by Lia for Whimsy Stamps. I colored her with Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is by Stampin' Up.

I was inspired by some recent monochromatic coloring that I've seen and wanted to try it myself. These are the pencils I used. A variety of browns and flesh tones.

The largest flower was handmade by Stephanie. She really needs to make me a badge and call me her Design Team! LOL The mini roses and bling are Recollections, a Michael's brand.

Thanks for stopping by!

the magic of christmas *flying unicorn*

I made this for a recent issue of Enchanting Creations. I followed a sketch by Mojo Monday.

This adorable bear is from Whimsy Stamps. I colored him with Prismacolor pencils and then accented with stickles. The circle is also topped with stickles and the scalloped piece is accented with crackle paint, available at Flying Unicorn.

This beautiful ribbon is from Michael's. Check out my tutorial below for how to make a bow!

The sentiment stamp is by Northwoods. I used Versamark and chalk to create a lovely, subtle pattern for this card. Check out the second video below.
