Whimsy Challenge Blog *whimsy stamps*

Play along for your chance to win some stamps!

I save these kinds of boxes. The kind that open easily without a chainsaw.

And turn them into treat boxes! I put a couple of Ghirardeli chocolates in here for my son's teacher. The pattern paper is from Riddersholm, available at Flying Unicorn. The flower and bling were made by my friend Stephanie. The yellow sprigs are from a Martha Steward punch. The butterflies and clouds are from Fiskars punches.

The butterfly is a digital stamp by Natalie for Whimsy Stamps. I colored with Prismacolor pencils and topped with stickles.

love stuff *flying unicorn*

An ugly pumpkin named Hal told me how to do this LO back in October. Really, it was for a fun game we played over at Flying Unicorn. We got one little instruction per day in October to contribute to our projects. I was mostly compliant.

Papers from Authentique, available at Flying Unicorn.

The sticker letters are also from Authentique. Those are two little paper cones on the left. The mommy and kiddie birds are a stamp.

Some handmade bling from my friend Stephanie.

The stars are punched and the heart was cut with my Expression.

According to Chance, love stuff is made of stars, hearts, and rainbows. It is used to cure grumpy mommies.

The blossoms are by Sassafras. The swirls are a DCWV rub on.

Your challenge this week is to use a sentiment and flowers with your image. You still have time to play and win!

I started with a sketch by Cardabilities but this card definitely took on a life of its own! Papers are from Christmas Emporium by Graphic 45, available at Flying Unicorn.

The tree is by Natalie for Whimsy Stamps. I colored with Loew-Cornell pencils and topped with a sparkle pen and gems. The roses are from Flying Unicorn.

A bow. Ribbon is from Michael's, attached with Glossy Accents.

Border punch leftover. I love border punch leftovers.

The ivy is fussy cut from the G45 paper. The roses are from Flying Unicorn.

Let It Snow *flying unicorn*

I made this card for a previous issue of Enchanting Creations. The papers are from Christmas Emporium by Graphic 45, available at Flying Unicorn. "Let It Snow" is a digital stamp from Mudmaven Designs.

This beautiful snow scene stamp is by Northwoods. I gave it just a wee bit of color and then a whole lot of stickles.

I used a micron pen to outline the image. I really like this look.

Happy Snow People

A little push on Christmas cards. They're going out soon!

Papers from Hot Chocolate by Fancy Pants. The first time I used these papers (a couple months ago), I wasn't really impressed. But I like this much better! Followed a sketch by Mojo Monday.

Stamp by Stampendous. I actually colored this two years ago. I like to color lots of images at once and then store them. Accented with chalk and stickles. Get your stickles from Flying Unicorn!

"Holly Jolly" is a FP rub on. Ribbon from Michael's.

A second, similar card.

This ribbon is also from Michael's and the sentiment is also a FP rub on.

Thanks for stopping by!

Remember When...

My baby is nearly 6 years old but I still love looking at his sweet baby pictures! I actually did this LO over the summer but never had the perfect opportunity to post it. Papers from Fine and Dandy by MME. Followed a sketch by

Circle stamps from CTMH. Die cuts from Cricut. Fussy cut the owl. The little zig zag piece at the top and right are leftovers from a border punch.

Another cluster of fun.

The border punch is by Martha Stewart.

My sister took the photo of Chance on left when she first met him. They were in the car together, we were all driving from the airport.

Another fussy cut owl layered on a die cut.

"Remember when..." is a rub on. The line with dots is a stamp by Sassafras.

Challenge *Whimsy Stamps*

Win some free stamps and participate in our challenge! You still have time!

The challenge is "monochromatic."

My Very Loose Interpretation.

Followed a sketch by Cardabilities. Papers from Graphic 45, available at Flying Unicorn. Kathy hangs out in the forums at Flying Unicorn and she makes incredible cards! One of her favorite techniques is to use crackle paint on the edges, which I've been dying try. I finally did that to all the pp edges to this card and I love it!

This digi is by Lia for Whimsy Stamps. I colored with Loew-Cornell pencils.

Ribbon by Teresa Collins. Roses from Flying Unicorn, topped with glimmer mist. Bling by Prima. The black, paper lace underneath is doily trim by Basic Grey.
