I have a process these days that once I cut in a paper collection, I go nuts. Therefore, I created a "series" of Sweet Peony.
Here, we have three cards and a mini album.

True story. Sweet Peony Paper Collection can stand on its own. I layered a sentiment cut from the paper over another beautiful piece. I just love the purple and pink!

Cutting the fiddly bits from Heartfelt Creations paper is just one of my favorite things to do. The little stamp pieces are my favorite. I always use every last one of them. I used the Ticket and Tags Die to cut the "Celebrate You" sentiment piece. I loved the first asters line Heartfelt Creations designed back in 2012. I bought the newer Wild Aster Cling Stamp Set and Die as quickly as I could. I stamped the flowers with Archival Black and and used Stack and Store Daubers- Pack of 6 to color with purple Distress Ink.

Machine stitching, gems, and a bit of ribbon completed this card.

I used Ornamental Tags Die to cut the tag piece. Then, I layered it with a scalloped circle cut with Decorative Circle Frames Die. I used a simple circle punch to cut the birdies. I love the birdies. I can't get enough birdies. I want birdies in every collection.

There's just no shortage of beautiful prints from this collection.

This is a little mini album I made using the the Sweet Peony Paper Collection.

These papers really don't need anything else. Just add photos!

Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate the Season Gift Set

Celebrate the Season by Heartfelt Creations was released in 2016,
so it is long discontinued. If you can find it, treat yourself!

I never did buy any of the dies from this collection. Therefore, all cut elements were from punches or fussy cut.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to make this box. The file is called
A2 Lori Whitlock Card & Envelope Box
I do love her files!

I like to include three cards in these box sets. Three just feels like a good number to me.

Once I done done with layering the delicious papers, I added borders with
Micron pen, ribbon, and Stickles for details.

I like to hand cut a little banner edge where I can. I think it's a fun detail.
The butterflies were cut from Fiskars punches.

I love adding Stickles to everything!

This card can be used to present the gift set. I fussy cut the sleigh, the skates, and the wrapped gifts from the paper collection. The postage stamp in the upper left is also from the paper collection. I love finding the postage stamps in the paper pads! They're among the first things I cut out.

The sentiment is also from the paper collection.

Thanks for stopping by!

I have a process these days that once I cut in a paper collection, I go nuts. Therefore, I created a "series" of Snowy Pines. Here, we have a gateway fold card thing and gift tags.

Check out these beautiful dies from The Elegant Gateway Collection! I cut everything out and then layered onto the  5 x 7 Gateway Fold Card- White.

The papers and tags are all from the Snowy Pines Paper Collection. I used Ornamental Tags Die to cut the tag layered on the postage stamp.

The sentiment card was simply cut from Snowy Pines Paper Collection.

I used Ornamental Tags Die to cut the little tag piece. The butterfly punch is from my stash.

I just love the tags from any Heartfelt Creations paper collection!

The little ticket in the background was cut with Ticket and Tags Die.

Thanks for stopping by!

Heartfelt Creations had an awesome sale on their Christmas collections this week.
Did you pick up some goodies? I'm a sucker for Christmas stuff.

The poinsettias are stamped and cut from Festive Poinsettia. The holly spray was stamped and cut from Holly Berry Spray stamps and dies.

For the center of the poinsettias, I used Go Man Go Prills. The little cardinal tag was cut from the paper with the Ticket and Tags Die.

Peonies by PSX

I never get tired of peonies. This stamp is by PSX and long discontinued.
If you see it for sale somewhere, treat yourself!
The background paper is from Heartfelt Creations.
Because I always have Heartfelt Creations on my desk.

Now, I can't remember exactly, but it looks like I used oil based pencils to color this image. Probably. I used Heartfelt Creations Album Tags and Accent Die to cut the stamped piece and its mat. I almost ruined the entire card with a poorly picked topper in the corner. I carefully removed it but it left some damage. I hope it's okay with the sentiment topper... It really didn't need a topper. Keeping things simple is tough for me sometimes. Most of the time.

hello Card

I had some fiddly bits scattered about my desk. I used The Bright Side of Life papers by ScrapCake to bring the bits together. Unfortunately, ScrapCake is long discontinued. However, Karola Witczak is now the designer (and owner?) of Mintay Papers.

I layered the beautiful papers with cardstock matting, machine stitching, and as many embellishments I could respectfully put on one card.

Little Chubby Friends

The stamp is an oldie from Whimsy Stamps. I used hard core pencils to color.

The papers are from Sunrise Lily by Heartfelt Creations. Wonderful warm colors for fall! I used a stitched die, a Micron pen, and Stickles to finish off this card.

More papers are from Sunrise Lily by Heartfelt Creations. I had mere scraps and used them up here. The stamp is a digital from Beccy's Place and pre-colored. Easy, easy! I used Spellbinders to cut the stamp and mat. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! I inked the edges and topped with Stickles.

I have a process these days that once I cut in a paper collection, I go nuts. Therefore, I created a "series" of Snowy Pines. Here, we have a traditional cards and folio cards.

This is my first attempt at something like this. Is it a card? Is it an album? I dunno. But it's pretty! The papers are from Dazzling Dahlia Paper Collection by Heartfelt Creations. The little circle tag was cut with Ornamental Tags Die. The side profile butterfly is cut from the paper with the Dazzling Dahlia Die.

The little ticket piece is cut from the paper with the Ticket and Tags Die.

I used the Dazzling Dahlia Die to cut the flower and the butterfly. I used Decorative Circle Frames for the scalloped circle piece.

The tag piece is cut from Ornamental Tags Die.
