Dazzling Dahlia Accordion Album *Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop*

Welcome to my post for the

Heartfelt Creations

Alumni Blog Hop!

Be sure to leave a comment on all the participating blogs. The hop closes on Monday, September 27th. The winner will be announced on the HC blog and on FB on Wednesday, September 29th. Be sure to email Heartfelt Creations at socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us with

"Winner of the September Alumni Hop" in the subject line.

Here I am. Creating with the paper collection

that loves itself and doesn't need me.

I had an old, ratty accordion book that I bought for 10 cents at a yard sale years ago. I fixed the binding with washi tape and this Heartfelt Creations paper collection did the rest of the work.

I love layering papers and fiddly bits. However, HC paper can definitely hang out all by itself. That page on the left here! Notice a few more throughout the album.

Rocking Chair

This Rocking Chair by Northwoods is one of my top 3 favorite stamps ever. Of all time. This stamp is no longer available on their website, but I did find one on eBay.

I colored the image with Staedtler pencils. The papers are from

Simple Vintage Botanicals by Simple Stories.

I know cheap pencils aren't the most popular but I love them.

They just layer and layer and they're hard to mess up.

french horn poinsettia

The papers are from Basic Grey's Juniper Berry. The stamp is from Stampendous

 and I used colored pencils.

Here, I used Spectrum Noir sparkle pens atop the pencil coloring. The papers are from Wild Rose Studio.

happy thoughts your way

The stamp is a digi called Sunflower Buggies by Meljen's Designs for Whimsy Stamps. I colored it with pencils I think the sentiment is a digi from Whimsy Stamps, too.

The papers are from Tea for Two by Cosmo Cricket. The border sticker is from Portrait by Crate Paper and the butterfly clip is from Making Memories.

from Basic Grey's Sun Kissed

Basic Grey is another company that I miss.

The papers are from Sun Kissed and I think the colors are absolutely delicious! I think the sentiment is a digi.

The "sunshine" sentiment is from Free Spirit by Close to My Heart.
