Dazzling Dahlia for Fall *Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop*

Welcome to my post for the

Alumni Blog Hop!

Be sure to leave a comment on all the participating blogs. The hop closes on Monday, October 31st. The winner will be announced on the HC blog and on FB on Wednesday, October 5th. Be sure to email
Heartfelt Creations at socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us with
"Winner of the October Alumni Hop" in the subject line.

I have a process these days that once I cut in a paper collection, I go nuts. Therefore, I created a "series" of Snowy Pines. Here, we have a traditional cards and folio cards.

This is my first attempt at something like this. Is it a card? Is it an album? I dunno. But it's pretty! The papers are from Dazzling Dahlia Paper Collection by Heartfelt Creations. The little circle tag was cut with Ornamental Tags Die. The side profile butterfly is cut from the paper with the Dazzling Dahlia Die.

The little ticket piece is cut from the paper with the Ticket and Tags Die.

I used the Dazzling Dahlia Die to cut the flower and the butterfly. I used Decorative Circle Frames for the scalloped circle piece.

The tag piece is cut from Ornamental Tags Die.

Thanks for stopping by!

Gosh, I love how you added the different shapes using the pretty patterned papers. I have these dies, but haven't used them. I didn't know what to do with them. Now I'm going to get them out and use them! Thank you!

I vote for folio/journal that is extremely lovely. Love all the places to tuck items and the paper is gorgeous.

Beautiful! I would call some of these folios. I love your use of layering too. It will be something I will try.

I have enjoyed seeing all the cards you have created in this series. The folder shape is interesting. I recently found out that square envelopes cost more to mail...postal sorting machine can't tell which way to read them, so they get human sorting. Nice work!

I am not sure if it is a card or a mini album, but I love it! I pinned it for inspiration! I was just thinking of doing something similar for xmas this year :) Beautiful!
