Hop ends on Friday, Feb 1st at midnight.
I am THRILLED to be joining up with my fellow HC alumni for a monthly blog hop. This event was a great push for me to be making cards and coloring again.
I followed a sketch by Chupa. LOVE her sketches! The paper is from Vintage Floret by Heartfelt Creations. The stamp is Rejoicing Bluebirds by Heartfelt Creations and it is, very unfortunately, retired. It is the first stamp I fell in love with when I first met the HC booth in 2010. I really hope Emma Lou and Linda bring some of these retired stamps back to life in future collections!
I fussy cut the stamped images and just arranged them on my card to fit the sentiment.
The sentiment is cut from the Vintage Floret paper. I love all the innovative ideas coming from HC to make my life easier! I colored my stamped image with Prismacolor pencils and used a burnishing technique to blend.
I felt the left side of my card needed to have a little more fun
so I added this clip by Recollections and a little bow.
Thanks for stopping by!

those birds are adorable!!
The bird is so darned cute. And I love the flowers in the background of the sentiment. I'm wondering if you did something to the ribbon to make the design on it? LOVE it.
Love your design with that beautiful color palette!

Very nice - looks so "springy".
love the pretty pinks and blues.
You did a great job with coloring your images. I am looking forward to seeing Heartfelt Creations at our local Stampfest in 9 days!
An opulent card! And Oh this textured pink velvet ribbon is so delish - and how well it matches the background paper! As does the lace, of course...
